We received the most awesome email from Catalyst Miami today and though we would share their link to the League of Women Voters awesome new 2012 Florida Election & Voter Guide. 

Leaders Needed

Know your amendments

Your voice is needed in the upcoming general election. In addition to a choice of presidents, Floridians will have 12 constitutional amendments on the ballot! Be sure to check out the League of Women Voters’ voter guide for more information. 

Katy Sorenson and others will participate in a forum to discuss the proposed amendments that will be on the November ballot.


When: Sunday, October 7 at 4 p.m.

Where: Pinecrest Gardens, Hibiscus Room, 11000 SW 57 Ave.


If you can’t make it then, but still want to learn about the amendments, Karen Woodall of Florida New Majority is giving a workshop at the South Florida Jobs with Justice meeting.


When: Tuesday, October 9 at 6 p.m.

Where: IBEW Meeting Room: 1657 NW 17 Ave., Miami 33125
